It’s another great cooking workshop with Student Voice in the SOLE Office. Gemma taught us how to cook a delicious veggie stir-fry! As you can see, students couldn’t wait to try it out!
Broghan Masters and Jasmine Dunn from Parkdale Community Legal Services presented a fascinating and useful lunch-and-learn on rights in the workplace. Students learned about the Employment Standards Act, discrimination, termination, and asserting your rights. Thanks to Broghan and Jasmine for empowering the next generation of young workers!

On December 7 we are having a Mobile Planetarium visit our schools for the day. It will be set up in the gym. Time slots will be made available for all, see below. On Tuesday, we said farewell to our awesome office administrator, Heather Murray. Heather has been an integral part of SOLE, a friendly face to students, and a phenomenal colleague to the staff. We’ll miss her! Heather, enjoy your well-deserved retirement.
