The Student Life Network is working with 36 students across Canada who are putting on a digital prom on May 22. They are calling it #PromIsOn2020. Link to the site – http://promison2020.com/
The program was launched on May 8, and already thousands of students have registered. With the help of Student Life Network (a division of 55rush) and our community of 2 million Canadian students, we expect many thousands to participate.
Not only will this bring happiness to thousands of students and families across the country, but the campaign is also supporting Kids Help Phone. With many brands already stepping up to support, it’s expected to raise $200,000.
The students are also reaching out to many celebrities to have them provide shoutouts to the students during the event. So far, they have interest from the PM’s office, Russel Peters, Rick Mercer, Toronto Mayor John Tory, Finn Wolfhard (Stranger things), Jacob Tremblay (actor), Johnny Orlando (singer), Mitch Garner (Leafs), and reaching out to many others.
