Goodbye 2 Semester 1

It’s been a fantastic semester, with a lot to celebrate. Today, we said farewell to our students who will be leaving at the end of the semester, as well as Jessica, who will be moving to her new position for Semester 2. It was also a chance to say hello to our three new student teachers, Miles, Dana, and Dragos, who will be joining us at SOLE for Semester 2. And of course, there was plenty of delicious food to go around for all!

Epoxy Resin Workshop

SOLE Photography students participated in an exciting workshop at Lens Work, where they created large-scale photos with epoxy resin coating. This technique produces vivid, glossy art pieces that bring out the colour and detail of the work. Len walked students through the various photo manipulation apps and software he uses, the materials needed, and the process of creating their pieces, and then it was time to get to work. We had a fantastic time, and the pieces look amazing!

Holiday Cheer Pizza Party

It’s a PIZZA PARTY! Join us for some holiday joy on Thursday, Dec. 21 at lunch in the Student Lounge. We will be collecting $2 to participate, with all proceeds going to the Fred Victor Centre.
