We will be offering both in person and remote programming for semester 2 night school. There is also an additional Tue/Thur Remote Full Credit program.

Remote Credit Recovery Night School: Semester 2:

  •  We will be offering Remote Credit Recovery Night School programming for TDSB students ONLY:
  • Students will be able to register for 2 credit recovery courses, one on Tuesdays and one on Thursdays.

OUAC & OCAS Information

Students interested in attending a post-secondary program at the college or university level should make an appointment with Beti as soon as possible to discuss your next steps.

Beti also has the temporary OUAC passwords required for you to start an application. Please see her to pick yours up. 

We’re back!

CUPE and the Government of Ontario have reached a tentative agreement averting a strike. As a result, all TDSB schools will be open as normal tomorrow – Monday, November 21, 2022. That includes SOLE! See you in class as normal!

Parent/Guardian-Teacher Interviews

Parent/Guardian Teacher Interviews are happening on Thursday, October 27 from 1:00-3:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm.

School-day schedule for Oct. 27:

Period 1: 9-9:35 am
Period 2: 9:40-10:15 am
Period 3: 10:20-10:55 am
Period 4: 11-11:40 am

Late start schedule for Friday, Oct. 28th

Period 1: 10-11 am
Period 2: 11:05-12:05 am
Lunch: 12:05-1:05 pm
Period 3: 1:10-2:10 pm
Period 4: 2:15-3:15 pm

You will be able to schedule appointments October 24th at 9:00 am until October 26th at 6:00 pm.
Instructions

  1. Go to the School of Life Experience scheduling webpage at https://parentinterview.com/s/sole
  2. Enter your child’s 9-digit student number and click “Sign In”
  3. Fill in your contact information and click “Continue to Make Appointments”
  4. Click on the name of a teacher with whom you wish to schedule an appointment
  5. Click on “Available” for a time at which you wish to meet with that teacher
  6. Repeat Steps 5 and 6 until you have scheduled all the teachers you wish to see
  7. Click on “My Schedule” (top left of the page)
  8. Print out, email or copy down your schedule
    Should you wish to cancel an appointment you have made, click on “Cancel” beside the meeting you wish to have removed from your schedule.

SOLE students win photography contest!

We are pleased to announce that both of the student winners for the Aurora Public Library’s One Book One Aurora photography contest are from SOLE! The theme was “The Power of Music,” Both students entered last year as part of Rachel’s Photography class and had very creative takes on the theme.

The first place winner is Lekaa, who graduated last year. The second place winner is current student Calen. Congratulations to both of our talented photographers!
