A video produced by two SOLE Alternative students has been featured in NOW Magazine. “The Toronto Transit Race,” by Casey Cain and Matthew Paul, highlights the troubles with the TTC through a race through Toronto’s east end. You can check out the article and video here:
Greenwood SS and the School of Life Experience (SOLE) welcomed REEL Canada and Canadian writer/director/cinematographer, James Brylowski on February 25 as they screened his hilariously original short film A Mile in These Hooves. The film tells the story of two brothers who set out to break the record for the longest distance travelled in a two-person outfit: a donkey costume. The filmmaker was at the school to tell students the story of how the short was made – cramming 5 people, a donkey costume, film gear and personal gear in a minivan to drive from Toronto to LA and back, shooting the film and adding 14,000 km on the odometer in just 21 days.
